CERITA #4: MEMENTO, HONEYMOON (3/3)

Reading time: 5 minutes.

Hi everyone.

It is important to use the space to well document our honeymoon story. Wordweb defines honeymoon as to take a holiday with one's spouse just after marriage. We kicked off the holiday on November 13, 2017 and it lasted for a week.

It is a good idea to list down merely information that benefits all readers the most based on our best knowledge and experience. While I was thinking what you all need to know, I directly typed all ideas popping up out of my mind.

1. Hotels play important roles
Cozy and romantic ambiance could boost the intimacy between just-married couple. We recommend some affordable hotels in North Sumatera. Look back at the prices, we spent only around four million rupiah during our 7D6N stays.

We enjoyed our stay the most at Samosir Cottage. It is our strongly recommended place. The place not only accomodates the just-married couple but also family-gathering or even solo-traveller. We invested approximately 1.1 million rupiah to enjoy the windy atmosphere and wavy sea.

The other story goes to good Jacuzzi moment. We decided to try fancy room but still affordable in Medan. Thus, by the power of googling and feeling, we picked Grand Aston City-hall which is located at Balai Kota street No. 1, Medan. The hotel's location is strategic and walking distance from shopping mall and merdeka walk food stalls. We were not hesitate to pay 1.2 million per day for savoring super comfy bed and artistic furnitures. The hotel was also equipped with bitterly complete and sophisticated gym tools. Also, the breakfast (which included in the room rate) was pretty delicious. Overall, we gave 5 stars to rate this hotel.

2. The travel routes
My spouse drove along 757 KM for our a-week honeymoon. Thanks to google map, it undoubtedly led us to the destinations. All we need to ensure is the strong internet connections. The next thanks goes to Telkomsel, for its strong signal. Moreover, the google map also directed us to the fastest route. Once, we followed the suggested route provided by google map, we came across Bukit Indah Simarjarunjung (Simarjarunjung Hill), we didn't stop by though cause it's been night.

3. Snaps as much as we could
Bringing back knowledge the pleasant memory is always a happy thing to-do. Therefore, it always be good to gather pictures especially at several memorable places, or while we met strangers and made friends afterward.

We did something unplanned as much as we can. Organizing the itinerary is totally OK, but surprising events often properly glue in our memories. We found that it was thrilling. Yes, it was thrilling. No, it has been thrilling. *
